little flutters

well we are now in week 16, moving right along to week 17. Our little peanut is the size of an avocado,  or 4.6 inches. I can't believe how fast this little baby is growing! This whole process is blowing my mind. In just one week, we will be at the doctor's office finding out if this little one is a boy or girl!

...that means bring on the guesses! :) 

one of the coolest things that have happened this week is I felt the first little kicks! Sadly, I had no idea that is what it was until it occurred multiple times...and I asked other moms what the first kicks felt like. haha It was definitely not what I expected. It felt like little flutters inside my belly, like my stomach was twitching. I am obviously seeing the changes occurring with this baby, but to finally feel the baby inside is so incredible.

Welcome to the lives of the Ward's!
Jordan and I met in 2010.
We were engaged and married in 2011.
We live in Houston.
We love our home.
And NOW, we are expecting our first child in 2013.

Jordan and I are absolutely thrilled to become parents. We feel blessed to have this opportunity.  I am currently 14 weeks along, and our Little Bit is the size of a lemon.
